Tebra is a cloud EHR, practice-management, insurance-billing and patient-marketing platform for independent US private practices, formed from Kareo and PatientPop (its own help centre states 'Kareo and PatientPop are now Tebra', and kareo.com 301-redirects to tebra.com).

-
Built for the US: claims to US payers, 9-digit ZIP and CMS place-of-service codes required for every location, and its own payments service prohibits merchants operating outside the United States.
Source -
No published subscription prices (quote only), and many usage fees on top: card processing 2.75%-3.25% + $0.30, mailed statements $1.10 each, EPCS $75 per provider, AI notes $99/provider/month, a yearly text-messaging compliance fee, $1,000 to export a practice website; fees non-refundable with auto-renewal unless 60 days' notice.
Source -
Online patient booking is not in the base plan; it needs an Engage or Patient Experience subscription.
Source -
No offline mode: the web platform and Windows-only desktop application need a stable high-speed internet connection.
Source -
Card refunds only within 40 days, only for the full amount, and a refund does not update the patient balance until posted separately in the desktop application.
